Default True Duals Rock!!!

I just put my new true duals on today. They are 3" with X pipe with spiral mufflers dumped at the axle. I'd never heard TD's except on videos, it really doesnt do them justice. 1000 times better than the borla mouth setup i had.

They fit nearly perfect, which I was also happy with considering they were mail ordered.

Sorry for the useless post, just wanted to share my happiness with the new setup.

Lane does great work, but he is not a sponsor on this site, so no contact or pricing info listed in the treads please.

Here's some ground clearence pics. Might be tucked up a bit too high right now though, I can feel some pretty heavy vibrations. Think they're rubbing on the floor pan somewhere. Either way, they should be about 1/2" from there final resting place.

Mine's lowered with LG Hypercoils. Ground clearance is not bad if you take it easy and be carefull.

Haven't heard them in person but if you check out ls1sounds under the true dual category they have two different vids of a TD setup with these mufflers. It's the best sounding TD setup I've heard so far.

You can get a set of true duals to tuck up pretty tight, but if you are a frequent track participant and/or make a lot of power and have to run a drive shaft loop, you have to leave some room for that. Mine don't tuck up as well as this setup, but I don't have any clearance or rubbing issues. Every once in a while over a crazy speed bump (which I normally avoid at all costs) I might scrape, but that is a rare occasion.

Oh yeah, true duals do rock. The sound of a catless y-pipe, any-catback almost sickens me now. F-bodies should have come with this exhaust from the factory...
