Default Photo of gap between flexplate and TC

Hey guys first 4th gen and first LS...bought as a roller it's been tough but got the motor and trans installed...using a TQ arm relocation cross member swapping from a t56 car to 4l60e....bought the LS1 flexplate and its a 3600 lockup stall on a 2004 GTO 4l60e....

The gap between the TC and Flexplate seems to be about 1/4 inch or so is that normal? I'd put a,washer behind it but it's right at impossible to get to lol....

Also good Lord where did the factory cooling lines run there is almost not room....I purchased fittings to swap the factory push lock cooling lines to a traditional flare to use brake lines...looks like a monster bend...and the car came with long tube headers as well....

3/16" is normal, 1/4" is not too far out. It'll give the converter a little more room to expand under heavy use...

Looking at that photo you don't think it will disengage from the front pump?

It's almost impossible to tell the distance between them from the photo. Measure it and tell us what it is.

Did you measure the space between the converter tabs and the bellhousing when you put the converter in?
