QTP LT's With SLP LM?
I just ordered up my QTP LT's with a Catted Y, it will be going with my current LM setup. My question is, would it have alot of rasp with cats on to the point where i should get a borla muffler or dyno max muffler? If i did need a muffler, what size muffler do i need to replace the resonator? I know this topic has been beat to death, but most everyone is asking when they are without cats, and since im doing the whole cat thing, i did read a few posts saying the cats will cut down the rasp quite a bit to where its not that noticeable. thanks for any advice and info regarding this.

i have the qtp's with catted y and slp LM. When they installed my lt's, they had to cut out the Lm resonator and just weld 3in pipe from the ypipe to the rest of the exhaust. they had to do this becuase the qtp ypipe pushes everything back and the resonator is too long. mine sounds great!

well thats good to hear, this is one of the reasons im going with cats, to kill some of the smell and to kill rasp and keep it sounding good. It should be quite loud, but as long as i keep foot outta it, i should be fine.
By the way travisnd, i checked out your webpage, very nice car, god i love those 35th's Very nice engine bay, i like it alot, just a great looking car in general

I used to have a custom 2.5" Y-pipe (with RT cats) and LM catback with my LT's. At first I thought it sounded fine, but after a little while I grew to hate it. It was very raspy even with cats and it started reminding me of those damn cherry bombs when you got into the throttle. Finally I couldn't stand it any more and went to duals. I couldn't be more pleased with that decision.
