Default Quick Questions on Exhaust

Can damage be caused if their is an exhaust leak between the drivers side manifold and the head? It is just in one area. I will be replacing the stock setup with MACs within 1-2 weeks max.

If the leak is pretty big, you could get some burnt valves.. May even throw a code or two..
