Default Intake question

So the slp cold air intake seems extremely small. theres just a tiny little slit that feeds to the air filter. I'm thinking about removing in so that the entire air filter gets air from the air dam. any thoughts? bad or good idea?

Why not just do a true ram air setup like a SSRA?

it seems like you could get much better air flow if you remove the metal scoop thats in front of the radiator

You can always make your own. Search "SUX2BU" on google.
