Heatshield tape for wires next to LT headers
has anyone ever used this while installing headers. Dont have enough slack to reroute. Headers are already in and struggled enough to get the tuned lenght LT on that i dont wanna take it back out. Just not wanting cranjshaft sensor, oil level sensor, and starter solenoid wires to burn up and cause more problems.

I use the DEI (i think that's the name of it) heat sleeve A LOT at work. I can get the part number in the morning if you want.
I don't like the tape. It's not flexible, hard to work with and looks like **** IMO.
The size I use the most is big enough to go over an oxygen sensor connector.
The stuff works really well.
