Default IAT extension

I'm moving my iat sensor to the nose of the car. I see ebay has about 20 listings. Are they all about the same or are some cheaper then others?

I have never looked personally, but was thinking about doing this myself, however I have a truck MAF with the IAT in it, so I have to divorce my setup. The only difference I could imagine, would be the actual connectors. As long as they use the weather pack/ GM type, I wouldn't be concerned, but I know there are some cheap *** connectors out there.

Thanks. That's exactly what I was thinking. Some of the listings do say "OEM" connectors.

If I can find a how-to I may extend my own. I really need this done by Friday and most of them will not get here till Monday. I'm guess I just cut the connector off in the air intake and solder the longer wires and solder the connector back on.

Anybody try this??

As long as you solder the connections and don't use something like butt connectors you should be fine. Soldering shouldn't increase resistance by anything more than like.... .0001 ohms, so it'll be negligible to a computer.
