Injector question
Hello everyone!
I have a 2004 GTO with
ls6 intake
tsp 233/239 lsa 113 cam
long tubes
ported 243's
My question to you guys is the car is still on stock injectors and according to my research the ls1 for this car has 28lb injectors. With my modifications would I be alright with a 32lb injector? I have a 255 fuel pump. I see a lot about using ford injectors. Is there one I can just plug and play? Im looking for a cheap simple solution.
I also plan to get new fuel rails so I would like both products to work together.

Denso 42 .lbs (450cc) Injector
My choice is to use a Denso 42 .lbs injector.
This fuel injector will idle BETTER than your 28's due to the smaller fuel droplet size.
This is a direct fit if "standard" length injectors are currently fitted though they also have the "intermediate" needed for newer LS-2 engines.
They do require an EV-14 (American car) connector which you may have now, or you could use a simple adapter for the connection.
The best item is their low cost.
There could be a chance that, in the future, you will again increase engine power AND you would be set.

I would get a set of FAST 36s. Data is readily available for tuning and they're the same injector used in GTP grandprixs with the supercharged 3.8. You could get used injectors really cheap. I've probably got 100 bucks in 12 injectors. They worked fine.

I wouldn't mind getting FAST but everywhere I look its listed for ls2 and beyond. Do they still offer injectors for old 5.7's?
The Denso sounds like a nice option if I cant get fast. Where is the best place to get them?
Where did you get your 36# injectors from?
It looks like I will be getting a FAST fuel rail kit and I would like all the aftermarket parts to get along.
