99+ knock sensors and harness on 98 ls1. I haven't come across any real information on this.
I have a 98 z28, I recently bought an ls6 intake, all new gaskets for the intake, and o-rings for the injectors.
I've heard the 98s have a different, inferior knock sensor. I'm getting sometimes up to 5° of KR on 93 octane, so I figured I'd make the switch to the 99+ knock sensors.
Now here is the part I'm unsure of. I bought 2 acdelco knock sensors and a new knock sensor harness for an 02 on rock auto.
Is it just going to be a plug and play deal.. Do I have any tuning that needs to be done after the sensor swap?
