Default Need help harmonic balancer

Need help I bought a tool to remove harmonic balancer for my lq9 motor ....tried to take it out but the puller tool is sliping coming out when I tight the bolt.plz can any one tell me if I am using the right tool.or is there any other tool to take it out ?

OTC 6667 it's $55 on ebay. It works a million times better than a 3 jaw puller. I've used the 3 jaw puller successfully and had it fly off one time and bang my knuckles pretty good so I bought the right tool after that.

He probably has it loose but still threaded partially to avoid damaging the crank.

Zraffz thx I will look for it.but the tool I m using bought it for 70$
... Big hammer the bolt is already lose.

Problem with using the bolt on a puller like that is there is nothing to keep the puller bolt centered when you put pressure on it. This allows the puller bolt to walk to the side. Then one of the arm will loosen and fall off

I sort out the problem I was putting the puller in wrong way now this is the right way
