Default PCV routing any good?

Bought my car like this, noticed it wasn't how the stock ls1 Pcv is. Wondering if this is behind the reason I notice the oil get dark pretty fast after I change it. Line from the TB goes to the passenger side valve cover. The line coming from the intake manifold goes all the way to the back of the valve cover on the drivers side with a PCV valve clamped to the end of the line and into the cover.

Just reverse the two on the throttle body.

here is a picture of mine.
The PCV goes to the intake and the throttle body connects to the valve cover.

LS1121, the way you're telling me to do it would be the opposite of what you have.. But jrpimp00 thanks for clearing it up. So this setup is correct? I though the stock PCV had the valve somewhere by the TB?

You want the crankcase to be able to do three things
1. breath through the air filter of the engine, so that is can never be excessively pressurized or vacuumed (no large deviations from atmospheric pressure)
2. evacuate through the pcv valve, into the intake manifold, during cruise/vacuum situations for scavenging of crankcase gasses and preferentially creating a sight vacuum inside the crankcase (to help keep from pressurizing the oil seals -> which causes oil leaks)

3. hmm well I guess its just those two things! I cant think of a third. Anyways! off you go now!
