AEM 30-4110 A/F gauge & E85?
Hey guys,
I did a search on this and looked over the instructions but I'm confused on if the AEM a/f gauge is for E85 cars since the stioch is lower than normal gas. It says there is a conversion table but I've never used this gauge before. Any help?

The sensor reads in Lambda, and then converts that Lambda reading into a number that it displays on the gauge/screen. A Lambda of 1 is displayed as 14.7.
The perfect Lambda for any fuel is going to be 1. Always 1. And that never changes.
No matter what fuel you use, when the A:F is perfect the gauge will read 14.7.
The perfect air:fuel for E85 is something like 8.9'ish. And that = a lambda of 1. Which the gauge will display as 14.7.
What I'm trying to say is don't worry about conversion tables, fuel formulas, and all that. Just adjust to the appropriate A:F that you're after. Pretend it's running pure gasoline, and you won't be confused.

That gauge has a switch on the back to change display from AFR points style to Lambda. Lambda is what really matters because it doesn't change by fuel type.
14.7 stoich for gasoline is lambda 1.0
9.765 stoich for E85 is lambda 1.0
