Default Chaned IAC, now extremely high idle.

Hey guys, I have a 1998 Trans Am and I changed the IAC in it and now its idling at about 2500 rpm. Is there an adjustment screw on the LS1? or is there a reset procedure I need to do?

How long did you let it run? Let it run a bit then take it for a drive and it will settle back down.

Never mind again, it was fine this morning when I got up, the idle was a bit higher than normal...but I didn't think anything of it. Now I went to lunch out today and when I turned it on, it idled up to about 2200 again, but it slowly started to go down. As soon as I put it into reverse it came right down to normal. What causes this?
