Question LS6 intake swap.... need tuning??

I am in the process of acquiring an LS6 intake for my car. With the mods in my sig will i need furthur tuning after the installation of the intake? Figured that it would mess with the AFR.

Thanks

No. It may idle a little different at first, but your computer will pick up the changes pretty quickly. I would take it out on the highway and do some wide open passes after the install.

before you go out and do those wide open passes I would baby it and check for vaccum leaks, then go at it. Remember its a plastic intake dont wanna get it to tight or to loose. Follow the torque specs. All of this of course if your doin it yourself. If you have any questions, I be happy to assist.

You dont have to, but it may gain some power with a retune. esp if you ported the t-body.
i know my buddys got a little more out of a retune.
