Default Quick rear main seal question

Have a customer with a fresh engine (from another shop) thats got a rear main seal leak. I'm assuming it's pressurizing the crankcase. I'll know pretty quickly as soon as I see it and get a vacuum/low pressure gauge on it.

This is a fresh motor, and a new seal - if we fix the crankcase issue (or whatever the real issue is), should I expect the seal to stop leaking, or will it still need to be replaced? Thanks.
