how many header bolts do i need for lt install? dealer says 16?

how many header bolts do i need for lt install? dealer says 16? first of all theres only 6 holes in each of my headers where the header would mate to the head, second the gasket only has 6 holes in them, wouldnt i just need 12 header bolts? the dealer said i need 8 on each side, for a total of 16. do you guys use 5 on each side or 6?
