Default Porting MAF sensor?

ok on install university...how they did that i would liek to do to mine....my ?'s are

1. woudl you haveta cut out that black thing on the wires or rods or whatever they are or it doenst matter?
2. Woudl the computer need tuning?
3. would it effect emissions?
4. what kinda power gains should i see?
5. What do you do with the screen is it safe to take it off? or not quite?
more questions to come as they pop into my head and i get more info...but thats not unusual...

No need. Stock MAF good to 600hp. If you spray dry then descreen, that is about it.

ok i guess i will elave it alone...i jsut thought of doing it cuz on INSTALL university they did that and said it elt liek the best gain...or...did they port the MAF housings? is that safe to do?

I will go with jpp, just leave the MAF alone. All you will create is problems. You can get gains from other parts.
