what are the advantages??increased backpressure?more flow + backpressure?from what i read in jrp's guide it states that backpressure is not necisarilly a good thing.TIA.

I've heard that stepped headers are only good for big cubic inch engines or ones that are pretty heavily modified. Stock or nearly stock cars would probably be better off with going with a regular non-stepped set.
