Default !Cats , need more info

Since this wonderful state has no yearly emissions checks, I was thinking about yanking the cats out of the SS. Is there a replacement piece to facilitate this easily?

I dont have the $/time now to do headers, but removing the cats ought to help a bit rite? Will it change the exhaust note for the better?

Cheers

I would wait untill you can afford lt's and ory. You would not gain that much hp from that. Also it would be alittle raspy from stock. just my .02

Just save up for some Kooks with an ORY. You'll save a lot of weight too.

Got links to either of those on a sponsors site? Never put headers on my last ls1, but would like to. Heard SLP's LT's leave alot to be desired. kooks seems to be getting good press.

Who makes a good ORY?

Thanks for the input guys. I could always divert some funds to this in January

Removing The cats on the stock manifold will not help a whole lot. I would just save up for a set of pacesetter headers from TSP. I Got mine there for a affordable price. I seen kits to bypass the cats on the stock manifold it is a pipe with flanges welded on them. I think it is a waste of time and money.

Kooks LT's/Kooks Ory are a great matchup. Contact Kris @ SDPC, over there ---->
