Angry Can't get Damn Y-Pipe off!!!

Hey guys I just got some New Jet-Hot LT Headers for my dads WS6 and want to install them, But I cannot get my Bassani Y-Pipe off the I-Pipe I have been at it for ours and it will not come apart. This is coming off my Dads WS6 and he said he does not want to cut it off so he can sell the Bassani Y-Pipe and mid length headers. Any input to get this apart would be great So far I have tried a Hammer, heating up the I-Pipe, and more hammering!!! so like I said any input would be great.

I lost that sale to you for the Jet Hot Y-Pipe for the same reason. The exhaust shop did everything they could to pull that Jet Hot Y-Pipe of and ended up having to cut it off to save the headers. We even used antiseize during the install.

We sell a lubricant hear called "Pipe Break" that has worked well for us in the past. You may want to try and call any local plumbing supply houses in your area to see if they carry it. Try not to put too much heat into it. It may distort the metal of the Y-Pipe to the point where it may not seal to another I-pipe correctly.

Good Luck, hopefully your outcome will work out better than mine.

I used a ton of Liquid Wrench during my swap.
