Cutout Causing rattling?

Question Cutout Causing rattling?

i recently bought an jegs exhaust c/o i placed it in the I pipe under the rear passenger side and it sounds great but i have a problem with rattling ....it happenes when i let off the gas and coast in gear or revving and letting off ....has any body had the same problem did u do anything about it ?????

i dont have a c/o but i have nothing past the y pipe and mine makes the change jump in my console, its aggrevating, i would like an answer to this too if there is one

im not complaining about rattling inside the car my problem is more in the exhaust area it sounds like pipes are hitting something

its not rattlin. Its the sound of the colder outside air being sucked into the pipe when you let off the gas. The noise you hear is caused by the cold and hot air meeting causing a noise that sounds like rattling. Mine does this too and it is pretty much normal.

yeah its normal, what some people do, is weld a bullet muffler right before the cutout to quiet the rattling or get rid of it.
