Default Vortec 6000 intake manifold on an LS1?

Will it work? How much clearance will you lose under the hood? Anyone ever tried it? Will it fit? Where can I get one? etc...

Cheers

it wont clear the cowl, even if you did shoehorn it in there the gain not worth it.

You have to use the healthier cams for the truck intake to really start holdin its own and the thing is just freakin ugly and tall. Like jrp sayed even if you "made" it fit it still wouldnt really well. Unless you already have one are can get one for less than 100 bucks- dont even consider it. I have one Ill sell ya for 50 bucks if you still want to try one out.

Cool. Just an idea. Not worth the expense of a new bonnet for a reduced power curve.

Thanks!
