GMMG.....Change in sound
ok the deal is that i have GMMG exhaust on my car with stock manifolds and modified stock Y-pipe.(no cats) and i want to put .pacesetter headers on there, but i dont want alot of drone or a raspy sound. so i was wonder i want the power the LT's get but not the drone or rasp. would mid's give me close to the same gains and stay the same or a little louder. i dont know a little help is all thanks guys.---Andrew

You are probably going to have to put cats back on it when you put full length headers on it. Don't waste your time with midlengths, and as the previous person said, you would cut out the rasp completely with duals. I know that my true dual setup eliminated all of the popping and rasp associated with my old catback.
