SES Light + High Fans on Full Time = ???
Well I was out driving tonight and the SES light came on. I wasn't sure what it was, but I wasn't too worried either. I figure I just pissed off an O2 sensor with the open cutouts. Anyways, the light didn't go off even after about 5 cycles, and I also noticed that my high fans are on all the time. Even after coasting downhill at 55mph for a couple minutes, they were still on at the bottom of the hill. If I recall, they have never been on at the bottom of this hill. I also had just put in some Lucas fuel system cleaner the drive before. So it had about 30 miles on the tank before the SES light came on. I dont know if this would do anything.
Has anyone had these same problems, and what did you conclude? Thanks!

I think on LT1 cars a bad EGR code would cause the fans to continuously run on high. Not sure about LS1's though.
Just take it to a parts store (Advance, Auto Zone etc.) that will hook a code reader up to it for free and take it from there.
