Default Installing Header Question

I just purchased the QTP race headers. I was just wondering when I remove the EGR do I need to stick a plug down in the hole to block it off. Or does anyone have any good installing tips or installing guides for removing the EGR. Thanks Guys

1 3/8 Freeze plug from napa. Just unbolt the egr and remove it. You will need to edit out the ses light.

The freeze plug is the common thing to do, just get LS1 edit or Hp tuners and get rid of the code.
