My A/C belt slipped off and shredded!

Default My A/C belt slipped off and shredded!

My ? might be a stupid one, but is that the only thing that belt runs, and is it ok to drive with out it, untill I get to the auto shop?

Yep the A/C has it's own belt. You'll be fine until you get another one.

Cool, I thought so, but just needed some assurance. Thanks. It's a pretty new belt any I deas what could have made it slip off?

Make sure your balancer isnt backing out of the crank..

more than likely something got kicked up from the road into it. Seen that a couple of times.
