Default Anyone with MSD wires help please?

I just got my MSD 8.5mm wires and they came with this tool. It looks like a blue pen with 8 little clips that slid on it. If you r firmiliar with this tool what is it for? Should i worry about it or can i just put the wires on? It seems like they are all the same length. Thanks for the help

Those clips are nothing more than cylinder labels. They are so you can identify the cylinder number for each wire. I didn't install mine because the wires are so short. They are meant to be installed on the distributor end of the wire so that you don't have to trace the wire to the corresponding cylinder. The tool is there so you can slide the clips onto the wires more easily.
