Default Newbe - Need help changing TB electronics

I have a Shaner TB coming in the next day or so.

How do I change over the elctonics - any issues?

Sorry guys for such a basic question - but I have never done this before.

I'm pretty sure its just two small bolts like on my LT1. Any way it goes, shouldnt be too hard.

You will be swapping two sensors. The Throttle position sensor is keyed to only fit one way on the throttle shaft. The sensors I have are secured with star head type screws. Two per unit. Just replace them on the new body and hook up the wires.

I don't mean to interupt your question but this is all you have to do correct? I'm in the same situation and never did it before. Also a does it matter if the tb came off of a 2000 and I'm installing it on a 98? thanks

As to the swapping of throttle bodies, removal also includes removing the large upper hose and the two small coolant hose at the bottom of the TB. The differences between years that I have noted are different shape passenger side coolant tube ( straight or curved ), and the size of the bell crank. I have a truck TB that has a much shorter crank compared to the one on my 01 Camaro. This might or might not effect full throttle? It surely will change throttle peddle rate. Do a visual comparison before you start.

Thanks guys.

I thought there was a trick involved with the Idle Motor - remembered seeing somewhere that it had to be turned 180 degrees to get it out. My mistake - that was the instructions on putting it in a FAST Throttle body. My bad.
