Default Header install 2000 LS1 !EGR problem

Reading on installuniversity.com about removing the !EGR it mentions this as a required piece.

"1998- 1999 EGR pipe 12556643 (comes with o-ring) (2000 model has a different pipe part number)"

I am in the process of getting my headers installed and I already have the exhaust block off plates but didn't realize I need a bolt/plug for the EGR going into the throttle body. Anyone have an idea where I can pick one of these up locally or somewhere online that will ship overnight?

TIA

do a search for a freeze plug. there's a post that says what size to get. then go to a local parts store and get one.

I guess I need to do a search for that too. Could that mess something up?

If you are going to eliminate the EGR (pre-2001 F-bod), you're going to have a large hole in your intake where the tube goes just behind the TB. As was said above, just do a search for the right size freeze plug and go to your local parts store and get it.
And yeah, a large hole in your intake would cause a major surprise.

Yes its 1 3/8....get the expandable one..tighten it before you put it in the hole so its snug when you put it in and then tighten it really tight while its in the egr hole. Its really freaking easy and costs like 1.50
