X-pipe exhaust ????
Ok So I have decided to get some 18" bullets mufflers and some tips. Install the headers my self and have a shop fab me up a 2.5" X-pipe system. Sence I really want it to exit to the rear, I have a 2001 T/A WS6. Im lost when it comes to the cats VS sims and the o2 sensors. If I have a shop do this, where do they put the o2 sensors and do i need to get sims? if you have any info for me please post. im lost on this whole thing lol. what im really asking here is what do I need to keep my computer in the car from throwing SES light at me

When it comes to headers what is the best size to get? and I dont have emmissions testing but I dont want to be like completely illeagal. Some headers have EGR with no AIR fittings and some are the oppisite way. what do i need to get?

Quick answers. You only need simms if you do not install cats and rear o2 sensors. If you want Cats and o2 sensors, you will have to weld in a bung behind each cat for the 2 rear O2 sensors. It all kinda depends on what you want and what the emissions laws are in your state.

You want to get longtube headers with no air or egr. Anything but a shorty header with air and egr is illegal anyway, and it's my feeling that the cats are a bigger deal to them than the air and egr.
