anyone try Splitfire Spark plugs????

i got a coupon for a free set and was wondering if i should try them....

ngk tr-55 $13 bucks and u wont have to do the same job 2 times in a day lol

i know a few that have because they were laying around, the car ran but not good.

I run a maintaince/service shop and cannot tell you how many cars that we have had come in with misfire/rough running problems because of Splitfire/Bosch 4 prong plugs!! For most applications just replace with what the factory INSTALLED!! seems to work for us......

Snake Oil. I have seen them pull up HP on a dyno for the first pull and then loose from stock after that.

NO!
i fouled 2 sets of tr 55's in a hurry.
switched to an autolite 605 and im good.

fouled out tr55's? i know soooooooooo many guys having no problems, your the first i have heard about it not working, thats weird

1st time for everything.

there are 3 more local guys here that have swtiched to autolite as well.
even a few cobra guys around here complaining of random misfires at low rpm until a WOT blast to clean the plugs.

never heard anything good about them the ls1's really like the tr55's and the tr6's

Sounds like a low rpm tuning issue to me... (too much fuel down low)
