I dont think that there is anyway around that, if you want to get the car back to stock you are going to have to buy an AIR system.

the reason i asked is cuz there are holes in stock exhaust manifolds where the 2 black rubber hoses from the AIR system are supposed to go. but isnt there a way i could block off these holes?

well yeah, i know they make block off plates for long tube headers, but i didnt know u could do it with stock manifolds. is there anything else on a stock manifold i will have problems with?? since i have no egr, im assuming if i get a set of stock manifolds from an 01-02 car, then the only holes in the manifolds should be for the AIR right??
