Default Making Hood Functional

I just bought the SLP Ram Air HO Hood, I want to make it functional. I currently have the SLP Ram Air lid, the one that draws air from the bottom of the front bumper. Is there any way to make this functional, if so, what do I need to do?

If you have the slp cold air induction it would be useless to make the hood functional. You either have one or the other. Having both will cancel each other out and you will lose power from what you already have. So either get rid of the cold air or leave it and make the hood functional.

yeah i got rid of my FRA and cut the hood baffles out and sealed the hood to the lid. both wouldnt net you anything worth while, pick one or the other.

i agree, i cant find it right now, but some had the hood sealed on a trans am recently....it looked good.

both wont be much help, well it could if you had enough air velocity and induction to take in all that air.

I would rather have a functional ram air hood. What all would I need? Just the lower air box piece and what else? Thanks for the replies.
