Ok, here's what I did. I'm doing a cam install. Putting it back together. Installing the new crank bolt. Not 5 mins earlier I read the manf. install specs. Dah!! So any way I proceed to install the new bolt to 240ftlbs. Doh! So I had a brain fart. Ment to do the 37ftlbs and 140deg method.
So you think it will stay put or should I get a new bolt? Lets add to this that I did pin the crank and I used locktite on the new crank bolt. Also after I realized what I did I put the breaker bar on and tightened it another 10degs. Thats as far as it would go...All I know is its on there damn tight..
Think it will be fine??? I'm thinking it will be ok.. I had heard the when you pin the crank the torque to yield method wasn't as important anymore...

Yeah, I I'm just going to leave it. Its on there alot tighter than it came off for sure. Plus with the crank pinned I dont have to worry about the balancer spinning off...
