Default Shorty Headers???

Staying emissions legal and need find a set of shorties that are resonable. Seen that many people have the JBA shorties when going the shorty route. Those seem to be well overpriced and was looking for something a little cheaper. Pacesetter makes a shorty (they say it's a mid-length) but it's emissions legal and only for around $450 w/ coating...yes i know it's a lot just for some shorties. Wondering if anyone has run these and if it really matters on the brand name for a pair shorties. Thanks yall!

Ditch the shorties, and pick up a CheaTR cam from Thunder Racing. If you havne't heard of it, I would strongly recomend you looking it up.

You can find people selling used or new in box shorties for pretty cheap. I bought new JBA's from someone on here for $225. I saw some JBA's on norcal-ls1 the other day for $250 if I remember correctly.

i had a set of JBA's which i'm selling, and on an '02 it made some difference, so on a 98 -99 it would make a bigger difference, quality header and well made IMO

The 02's don't have the egr you will need to stay smog legal. If you were to delete the egr, you might as well go with longtubes.
