Anybody running the 30" sweet thunders w/ true duals?
Did a search, seems everyone likes the 18", didn't see 30". If there's a thread, just point me in the right direction please. I'm just curious if the 30" would make a true dual a bit quiter than the 18"? Thinking of going to a 3" true dual under the axle setup w/ the 30" if possible to keep the noise down. Thanks.

I think the 30" would be a good bit quieter than the 18", however why go under the axle? Never quite understood the appeal of that route. I value my ground clearance far too much to do something like that.
Another method would be to put 18" after the axle setup again if you really want to try and quiet it down and put cutouts before the axle.

I was going to go under the axle b/c it seems dual 3" over the axle doesn't work, from the posts I've read.
I like your idea with the 18" before and after the axle, hmm.

I think that setup would sound amazing, I would be interested in seeing some numbers though. There has been some debate on the Thunders flowing capabilities, but honestly I couldn't tell a difference between the Dynomax bullets, magnaflow ovals, or the Sweet thunders. I would go with the 3 inchers just to be safe. Oh yeah and SOUND CLIPS if you do it!!

I have been looking for the pic and cannot find it. There are a bunch of pics floating around of a 2.5" true dual setup that uses 4 chambered mufflers. Two in the GMMG style position and 2 under the driveshaft. It goes OVER the axles on both sides. It looks amazing. Sorry I can't find it. Maybe someone else will have more luck.
