newbie can't figure out which side of collector gasket

newbie can't figure out which side of collector gasket The manifold gasket is a no brainer it's got instructions print on the gasket
However the collector gasket doe's not. the gasket inbetween the LT & y-pipe
one side has a o ring other side got like a little lip.
I'm thinking the o ring side attaches to the LT?
now I'm thinking I should have got the flat percys that would be easier for me
