Default are coil packs different on a 98?

On my white T/A i think i might have a problem with the coil packs or the coil pack harness.
When i had the new heads put on they had to update the valve covers and also had to use the different coil pack setup where they sit in a tray.

My Gold T/A is a stock 98' and i want to swap those coil packs onto the white one to see if i still have the same problems, but i dont know if the coil packs are the same?

Can i take the coil packs off of it and fit into the tray on the white T/a?

thanks

i believe the only difference is that on the 97-98 cars they are not connected to each other on that tray.
