Someone has to have something to say...
I've done a search and I just can't find an answer to my question. Has there been provable and noticeable gains over kooks 1 7/8 by using the QTP 1 7/8 w/ HVM? I posted this in the dyno section (https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=377604), but no one has said a word. I will hopefully have a 408 within a year and I want to know if using the QTP headers with the HVM is worth that money. On paper, it seems so, but that is not always true. Considering my setup will be very aggressive as well as some nitrous. High 11 or so compression, 25?/25? or so cam. I'm going to be spending a few dollars as you can see, and I want the best setup I can get, but I wont by the QTP header for nothing, or next to nothing.

I dont have personal experience with the 1 7/8s. But i have the 1 3/4 hmvc. All the guys around here dyno higher with the hmvc over the standard collector. It will gives about 5-15 more hp. Its worth it if you want everything squeezed out your headers. Call qtp and they can explain more for you.
