Default is it safe to drive

Having headers and ypipe installed thursday and removing the cat will it be safe to drive and how long can i dirve before having the codes cleared

you can drive with the code forever, it does nothing to the car except turn on the light. I ran with my light on for 6 months before getting the rear o2 code deleted. The only bad thing is that is you have another code being thrown, you wont know it unless you get a scan, since the light will already be on because of the rear o2 sensors.

It will run a little rich and you will have a ses light. But wont harm the car in any way.

I am temp dumping my y this weekend after my LT install. Car will be stored in a month or so. I am waiting until next spring for new cat-back or TDs You will be finne just really loud. Be careful.

I ran mine for several days with just headers and y pipe. I did have sims for the rear O2s, but it doesn't affect performance. Just make sure you have the front O2s in and plugged in, which you will need some extenders to reach.
