Default L-O-L Shop story:

I was getting my car smogged the other day, and noticed a muffler/exhaust shop on the other side of the parking lot. I decided just for ***** and giggles to see how much he would charge me to strap in my Mac headers for me.

The guy tells me that Mac headers for the F-body never work right, and he's tried to put several in that do not fit. Of course it's a problem that can be solved, but he could make no promises on weather or not they would go in, and he would have to have some money reserved for his time in case they just wouldn't work. If they did work, he said it was $1000 dollars to put them in, because header install is a 2 full day job, and he'd have to charge me for 19 hours of labor!!

I should have known to run when the guy in front of me was getting pushed into a $2300 dollar header (singular for the 4 banger) and 3" piping all the way back!!

Oh well, at least I've found the guy in SD that gives all the rest of them a bad name.

His shop-----> <-----Me.
