my idea for an exhaust help? Ok here is a diagram of the idea i have for an exhaust, I dont want to run cats most of the time but i dont want to be screwed when emissions roll around either. So heres my crazy idea. its basically headers to two electric cutouts to a swappable section that would either contain straight pipe or a cat. These would have gaskets everything else would be welded after that it goes to a ORY which will probably have to be chopped to hell to make this work and then to my hooker aerochamber muffler

So its sorta like the FLP design? minus the cutouts of course. Looks like a good idea though, good luck with the project if you decide to do it

I'm sure you could make it work, but why not just keep the cats in full time? If you want it louder just open the cutouts. That way you can be quiet and stinky-free most of the time
