Default Exhaust

Are exhaust systems interchangable between the L98 LT1 and LS1? I didn't think they were. Confused.

Not without modification to some (or many) parts of the system. The muffler and tailpipe assembly could be made to work with some different hangers, but in most cases, the I-pipes and everything forward of that will need serious modification depending on which car it came from and where it's going to....

The catbacks will work with a little modification. SLP sells a kit to adapt the LS1 catbacks to the LT1. I'm not sure what it takes to throw one on a thirdgen, but I know you can get the GMMG on one.
