Default Stinky smell from vents, do you have the same?

If you have headers (mine are SLP's) and have a bad smell coming from your vents particularly when you have come to a stop light or upon start up, I have found the problem. It seems that the plastic heating and a/c box (grey in colour) inside the engine compartment got a little hot. This box is on the left side looking at the engine. This gave the car a very bad smell when I turned on the vents. So what I did was got some wide aluminum self adhesive tape and placed it on the box approx covering 1/2 the box to protect it from the header heat.
It has stopped the horrible smell. Thank god.
Well food for thought and hope this helps if you where in the same boat.
