Default FAST Intake manifold install question

A few months back, I installed the FAST intake with the NW 90mm throttle body. Car has run like **** ever since. The guy who tuned it has has put the pcm in open loop for whatever reason and it still won't idle. I've been thinking about the possiblity of a vacum leak and the only thing I can come up with is this question. When you install the intake you put the gaskets around the ports of the intake. On older SBC's, there was also a gasket along the front and back of the intake. I don't remember a gasket here. Is a gasket needed along the front and the back of the intake or not?

I haven't finished my LS1 project yet, but I've read that some poeple had to use RTV to dseal the two together. I purchased FAST intake gaskets (actually a set from ByunSpeed) which appear to be a tad thicker and softer than the OEM, but I didn't have a new OEM set to compare it to, just the used set. My Fast 90 intake also came with a round gasket that is to be used between the 90mmTB and the intake.

My NW TB fits great.

Have you tried disassembling the intake manifold and see how the bottom portion fits against the heads?
