Default QTP y pipe and stock catback

I have the optional SLP dual/dual exhaust on my 02 SS and plan on keeping it. The I pipe necks down to 2.75 inches to mate up to the stock y pipe. Is anyone running the QTP y pipe with a stock catback? Any cutting, welding, etc to make it work?

i'm running it with slp's cme exhaust. i had to have about 4" cut off the i-pipe because the merge collector was further back than stock. also had it welded because it was rattling and the band clamp wouldn't tighten down enough.
