Question Whats the difference in the size of the plug wires?

MSD 8.5, Taylor 10.4 etc. What the hell is the difference besides numbers?

Whats the stock wire sized at?

The MSD is 8.5mm thick while the Taylors are 10.4 MM thick. The thicker the wires are teh less resistance they have. Less resistance means better, more consistant spark.

Stock at at 7mm I believe

actually there is debate on how the resistance is compaired to the spark. the size of the wire also has to do with the thickness of the insulation. i went back to stock ls6 wires, best wire IMO after having several others.

Has anyone tried the Jacobs wire with the stainless steel core,I hear Jacobs makes a good product.

Certain wires appear to be more shielded than others. just less electronic noise to interfere with performance.
