Default Catbacks and Flowrates

Ok... have a question. My current 'supplier' can get me a great deal on the Magnaflow catback. However, I plan on doing H/C/I in the future or maby even a supercharger and need as much flow as possible. I could just do headers to dual cutouts, OR I could do it the civil way and do headers to a 3" Y-pipe out through the Magnaflow catback.. any idea on how much HP I'm gonna loose by going out through the catback instead of going say True Duals or out through dual 3" cutouts behind the headers? Plz go off knowledge and as little opinion as possible. I have a limited amount of time to decide so plz help me out here! Thank you!

I have headers, 3" !cat Y, 3" I to flowmaster with a 3" cutout right before the pipe goes over the rearend. I gained about 7 hp on the dyno from opening the cutout.

I personally think duals are overrated. Why not just run a 3in cutout in the I Pipe along with the magnaflow catback? That way you can have loud when you want and quieter when wanted. Heres what I would do 3in O/R Y w/flowmaster merge into magnaflow catback with a cutout in the I Pipe.

well that would still only be a single 3" pipe which is the equivelant to dual 2.25" pipes

now dual cutouts in the y pipe is another story alltogether
