Just wondering if the water pump pulley comes off or if its pretty much built onto the water pump so that its permanent. Only reason i ask is i bought an 02 Ls1/T56 Combo for my 92 RS and the water pump pulley is pretty scratched up and has some light surface rust on it. Figured it would be easy to repaint off the water pump.............jt

No it dose not come off. It is pressed on to the impeller unit. Looks like your going to have to tape it off and spray it..

Thanks for the response, no big deal since the water pump is off from the cam swap anyway..........jt
