Default Throttle Body sensor?

I was going to polish my throttle body, so I decided to take out the sensors. I dropped the one pictured below about 12" onto the concrete. I'm assuming that these are a little fragile. The actual sensor seemed a little loose in the electrical sensor body. Any input? Part #? Any advice is appreciated.

It is the IAC "Idle air control" you should be fine, stronger than you think. The looseness is the pintail it is designed that way, it moves in and out to control the idle air passing through the body.

Yeah thanks, I just did a little research and found out that it is the IAC.

I sure appreciate your input . I thought it might be really fragile like an O2 sensor or something.

Anybody know how the car will act if it's broken? Part #

Thanks again

LS1 Idle Air Control (IAC) valve (kit with seal) (98-99) = 17113391

Definitely is what you're looking for:

If there is somthing wrong with it, the car will idle like ****. That plunger allows air to bypass the throttle body and is actuated and controlled by the computer.

If your car idles like crap, swap it out with a friends first to see if it fixes the problem. If it doesnt, you can blame the idle on the port job.
